About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Andrews Blake, you’ll play a key role in expanding our consultancy’s reach across both the public and private sectors. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the tender process, and supporting client relationship development across our regional offices.
This is a strategic role that sits at the intersection of sales, marketing, and service delivery. You’ll work closely with the leadership team, project directors, and consultants to position our services effectively, respond to bids and proposals, and nurture long-term partnerships with high-value clients.
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of B2B consultancy, and a proactive, structured approach to driving growth.
Requirements
Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors and regions
Manage the end-to-end tendering process, including PQQs, proposals, and bid submissions
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery of bids
Maintain a strong understanding of our services, client sectors, and market positioning
Build and maintain relationships with procurement teams, industry partners, and key decision-makers
Monitor and evaluate public and private sector tender portals for opportunities
Work with the leadership team to shape pricing models and commercial terms
Collaborate with marketing to create compelling bid materials, case studies, and capability statements
Track business development activity and support regular pipeline reporting
