About the Role
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you’ll lead the delivery of complex sustainability projects and provide strategic guidance to clients across a range of sectors. Your work will focus on translating environmental goals into practical, commercially viable action plans, including carbon reduction, ESG integration, resource efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
You’ll act as the primary point of contact for key clients, manage junior consultants, and contribute to the development of our methodologies, service offerings, and internal knowledge base. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of both technical and strategic sustainability issues.
Requirements
Lead the delivery of multi-phase sustainability projects from inception to completion
Advise clients on Net Zero planning, ESG strategy, and decarbonisation
Oversee carbon footprint assessments in line with GHG Protocol, SECR, and TCFD
Present findings to executive stakeholders and support board-level engagement
Mentor and support junior consultants across multiple offices
Provide guidance on compliance with UK environmental regulations and planning policies
Develop and improve tools, templates, and internal project processes
Contribute to business development, including proposals, tenders, and pitch materials
Stay ahead of industry trends and contribute thought leadership to internal or external platforms
